Step 1: Encourage Collaboration within Peer Groups

Once a month, ReSourceYYC has a Collaboration Workshop. This workshop involves all the start-up businesses within ReSourceYYC. Our goal with these workshops are to help one another spread the word of each other companies and talents. We also host a number of networking events such as our large networking event once a month and 'Beers with Peers' every Thursday evening. Both of these networking events encourage our members to take a small break from their busy lives and network with other members. This often leads to our members finding something in common that they can collaborate on.

Step 2: Have Flexible Inspiring Space

An inspiring workplace makes creative ideas flow, which is important when starting a company. At ReSourceYYC, we have both renewable and sustainable options that fit any type of work schedule. Along with our work-space options, we also have many common areas that we have available for our members to use as they please. It is important to have two atmospheres in a co-working space, quiet and comfy or busy and boisterous for different types of workers. The space you are in can make all the difference when it comes to developing creative ideas.
